Funny 50th Birthday Poem

Hi - If you're looking for a funny 50th birthday poem, look no further. Hello, my name is Allen Jesson and I write funny gift poetry for every occasion, including funny 50th birthday poems. This is one of the more inspirational fiftieth birthday ideas, so if "over the hill" springs to mind, then you're in the right place.

Now, of course, as every poem is uniquely written, every funny 50th birthday poem is different, obviously including all the funny, personal and embarrassing moments that you wish to use. To be honest, although the poems are definitely 'roast' I always include a 'toast', rounding off the poem with some heartfelt sentiments (because the birthday boy or girl is obviously important to you or else you wouldn't be looking for a funny 50th birthday poem to mark this important milestone, would you?). This was written for Mike on the occasion of his 50th birthday. The boys had been away on a fishing weekend to celebrate and wanted something special to express their feelings. Fifty More

Happy Birthday Mike!
You've turned fifty today,
You've seen the ones get caught,
You've heard that some got away.

I'm glad we're safely back
Because boats have been lost before,
Williamstown 1 Luke 0,
I believe that was the score.

And trucks can roll backwards
Especially with Ronnie in control
One minute safely sleeping,
The next thing you're on a roll.

You've worked at Bunkers
For 25 years, more or less,
Tried a couple of others,
But you know where was best.

You only lasted three weeks
At a place called TNT,
But you knew Bunkers was hard to beat,
It was a better place to be.

So thanks for this weekend
It really has been a pleasure,
We've made friendships that will last,
And memories that we'll treasure.

So ladies gents, raise your glasses please
(as oft times before)
So here's to you Mike Luke,
And here's to fifty more.
